A wonderful Ventura family near Sexton Canyon is hiring a nanny for their 3.5-year-old daughter. This is a split schedule role supporting school drop-off, preschool pickup, lunch, nap, playtime, and child-related household support.

About the role
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, excluding Tuesday morning, plus 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM or 5:30 PM and additional times as needed. The nanny will help the child get ready for school, drop her off around 8:30 AM, pick her up at 12:30 PM, bring her home for lunch and nap, then support playtime until a parent returns.
Main duties
- School drop-off and pickup using the nanny’s own car.
- Lunch, nap routine, toddler play, reading, arts and crafts, and engaged learning.
- Keep the child’s room and playroom clean.
- Help the child clean up and return toys/items where they belong.
- Child’s laundry, weekly sheet changes, and light kitchen tidying such as dishes.
Ideal candidate
- Experienced and genuinely interested in toddlers.
- Engaged in toddler-level play, reading, learning, and creative activities.
- Trustworthy, communicative by text, and respectful of household rules.
- Pet friendly and comfortable with a friendly cat.
- Has a reliable car and clean driving record.
