SANTA BARBARA, CA – Super sweet family with 3 going on 4 kids is seeking a FULL-TIME BABY NANNY for their 4th baby due this October 2024 (they'd like the job to start in September though). The care is mainly for the infant as the older children are in school and have activities. The schedule is FULL-TIME with the following needs: Monday – Friday from 7:30am-5pm plus one 1/2 day/per a weekend. The minimum hours per a week they can guarantee is 40. Hourly rate being offered is $30 an hour, plus 2-weeks paid vacation and 10 sick days. The family will reimburse you for gas when driving with the kids, so please have a clean driving record and be a good driver. The family has a small dog.
This is a super fun family! We have worked with them in the past so we know them well. The job they are offering is for the new baby to come, but they'd like the person to ideally start before then so they can get to know the family and kids before the baby comes. Both parents work in the medical field so they are busy professionals and rely on reliable childcare. This position is for someone who likes to work, has a great work ethic, is responsible, loves children of all ages, wants to grow with a family long-term, and loves working inside the home with parents and children. The parents ideal Nanny is someone who is very experienced with infants/newborns, knows the basics of babies such as feeding, bathing, dressing, sleep training, and interacting with the baby, is able to help around the home with duties like laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation, and eventually transporting the child like taking the baby to doctor's appointments, school, activities, or playdates. Light housekeeping chores include grocery shopping, family errands, emptying the trash, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen and kids’ areas clean and tidy. The ideal person is nurturing, kind, active, creative, and interacts well with children of all ages.
